Meet Nika Asistio, APRN, FNP-C

Nika Asistio, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and the founder of Prism Medical Care. With over 11 years of experience in healthcare, her background spans emergency medicine, critical care, primary care, urgent care, and clinical research — giving her a well-rounded, practical, and clinically disciplined approach to patient care.

She created Prism to offer a more thoughtful and accessible model of healthcare — one that prioritizes clinical integrity, clear communication, and individualized treatment. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine and focused on ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and appropriately managed.

Nika is known for her thorough, no-shortcuts approach to care. She believes that good medicine requires not only knowledge and clinical skill, but also the ability to listen carefully, think critically, and treat each patient with respect and intention.

Outside of her clinical work, Nika is a proud mother of two incredible children and a devoted dog mom. She values time with her family, enjoys being involved in community events, and is passionate about giving back and supporting the community she serves.

She also remains deeply committed to continuing education and staying current with evolving medical standards, ensuring her patients receive high-quality, up-to-date, and responsible care.
